Hillstone is a totally different place. Not a big fan of Hillstone, the food sitting out under heat lamps served buffet style. There are plenty of restaurants with better food and real waiter service, why go Hillstone?

This restaurant is now called Hillstone, and the location is not 26th street. It is at Park and 27th Street

Dinasour BBQ in harlem….right off west side highway near 125th street. The best real B B Q in nyc for sure, very reasonable prices for ny too.

Once again the Nerd has outdone himself…I suggest trying the spaghetti squash. I went today for the Ribs and Carl Banks was just finsihing up a plate as well. He must be an avid Nerd reader – screw Zagat’s and Menupages.

I couldnt agree more with the nerd on this one.

i actually just came from lunch there myself where i downed my plate and even managed to grab four more from a colleague when he wasnt looking.

have you ever seen ribs jump off the bone like the ones there? you literally need to poke it with the fork and magic happens

My favorite is Fette Sau in Williamsburg. Truly unique, but the real deal. And delicious.

Go to Dinosaur BBQ on the upper east side! They started up-state and have spread down to the city. They’re by far the best. If they don’t blow Houstons out of the water, I’ll eat my shoe.

Hey another really good, somewhat unknown BBQ place that’s REAL DEAL is called “R.U.B.”(Righteous Urban Barbeque) — it’s on 23rd btw. 6th and 7th.

Good call on Houstons!!
