I’m flying tomorrow, going skiing in Wyoming, so perhaps it’s bad timing to post this, but I just have to say WTF were they thinking!

Spray on glass could revolutionize everything. It’s regular glass that is sprayed on to coat any surface in an extremely thin layer only nanometers deep, or 30-40 molecules. Which is sufficient to provide water resistance & breathability, among other qualities such as medical grade sterility. Check it out

dSLR cameras are one of the hottest items in the market today. They’re getting extremely good at the entry level and now at a $500 price point more attractive than ever. I do a lot of research on stuff like this when I’m interested in buying, and I’ve been thinking about getting into this for about a year. During that time Nikon, Canon, & Pentax have been paying a ton of attention to the entry level dSLR.

These cameras are now made as lightweight and simple to operate as possible. They are as automatic as your point and shoot pocket camera, but offer the opportunity to endeavor the steep learning curve of photography proper, with manual settings and advanced editing.

Expect a fair amount of action in this new category, Photography, nynerd.com/photography as I expect to get the bug and spend a lot of time shooting here this summer.

Driving on the Autobahn in Germany at 140 mph in his BMW Z4, the driver hit a deer. The deer disappeared. The driver stopped and wondered where did the deer go?

They say most fears are based on a lack of experience. So if you have a fear of heights, it’s likely you don’t have much experience being in high places. A few minutes a day gazing at this photograph ought to do the trick.
