I have recently become hooked on coconut water. It has a very light and refreshing taste and more potassium than a banana. One serving of it has 60 calories and no fat, this is the water, not the milk… big difference. All over the tropics people drink coconut water everyday, but here in New York it is very new on the scene. I am very bullish on coconut water, you heard it here first, Zico is the next Snapple.
I love coconut water… but ZICO tates very VERY artificial!

Mildly sweetened young coconut water with the little pecies inside is a delicay in Sri Lanka for ages.
I tried Cocofina the other day and it seems to be the closest to the natural coconut water.
I love ZICO and it has changed my workouts–giving me energy during my spinning classes. I love the flavors and mix ZICO in the morning in my protein smoothies.

Actually it takes totally authentic.I have served the “Natural” at a few parties and people (especially central americans and indians) think its straight from the cocunut. Personally, I love the “Mango”.
The original Zico tastes absolutely great. It’s tough to beat it after a workout or when you’re hungover!
I love ZICO, as it tastes just like it was out of the nut. As a matter of fact, being from the tropics, ZICO has a consistent taste, something hard to find in coconut water. I use it on the bike and the potassium is great to avoid cramps…
I like all coconut waters available… but I hate the taste of Vitacoco!!!

your right Bruno…. Vitacoco has an after taste but they all do . I was told all the brazilian coconut water in tetrapaks come from the same manufacturer… In fact anyone can import it ….just come up with your own label and the manufacturer will put it on and show help you market it …. seems to be working out well for a lot of people lately.

I have tried and loved DR. Tims coconut water. It is very fresh and great for hydration before, during, and after workouts!!!! you can buy it at Harmons, some Whole Foods, some Albertsons, and soon to be at GNC!!!
brazilian coconut water – there are 2 companies that do pretty much all the tetra-pack products. So yes, most all the coconut water coming out of Brazil comes from the same source… one might say.
