I have asked the same question many times, even though I am a christian. I mean, how can your soul go to heaven or hell? When you die, will you see floating faces, or will there just be a bunch of invisible people? Well, I have finally decided to stick with, 'I would rather accept Jesus as my Lord, Saviour, and ask Him into my heart, and be wrong and be turned into dust, than to not believe, be wrong, and go to hell.' DO you really want to go to hell, where you will be tortured every single minuet? I heard this somewhere, probably from a book or something, but this one guy died and went to hell. He didnt ask for a second chance, all he wanted to do was go back to Earth for a day and tell his brother that it was all real, and there really was a heaven and a hell. Satan said that his brother didnt listen before... why would he listen now? These responses alone should generate a study on the correlation between the knee-jerk responses, intelligence, socio-economic backgrounds, and Republican/Democratic Party affiliations and Pro-Choice/Life debate.
