Doctors Sign Off On Torture
According to an article in Time Magazine, from Andrew Sullivan’s new book, “Oath Betrayed”, doctors in Iraq have to sign off on torture before it occurs. They review the detainee’s medical records to determine the appropriate means of torture based on the individuals strengths and weaknesses. The doctors do not check out the patients after the torture is conducted. This incredible perversion of ethics is mandated by Bush and Rumsfeld.

You should read Greg Palast’s book, Armed Madhouse. He paints a picture of the reasoning behind the Iraq war, to suppress Iraq’s oil production. It is so fascinating, but truely sickening.

I will check it out…How do you know what is truth and
what is a lie when all the info we get is filtered so heavily?
At lease in the komi days in Eastern Europe, we could listen
to Free Europe and get the other side of the story.
