10 Jul 07 Gonzales Knew of FBI Patriot Act Abuses
On April 27th, 2005 in hearings to decide whether or not to renew the Patriot Act, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified that there has not been one case of FBI abuse of the Patriot Act. Today it has come to light that 6 days prior to that testimony, Gonzales received a report from the FBI documenting specific cases of FBI agents’ abuse of the Patriot Act. Here’s more
