just saw Jesus Camp myself, i appreciate the fact that the movie’s makers let the people interviewed do all the talking… over all, there is some truth in this flick as long as it’s taken with a grain (or maybe a bucket) of salt
the part where they break the cup reminds me of nazis burning books…
oh yeah now I remember why evangelical christians are retarded.
I think that this is one of the scariest things that I have ever seen. This is how all crazy things begin. They claim that over seas people are teaching their children to strap bombs on each other and blow people to hell. So their response is to attack and corrupt our children’s beliefs with the idea that there is only one way and one truth in this world?!?!?! The problem with religion in general is that every single one of them believes that theirs is right. Yet if god were to come down and tell everyone that one religion was right, it would completely destroy every other religion on this planet….. but people would continue to hold onto their beliefs in their religion. The problem with todays society is that people are stubborn, you have to really ask yourself about religion…. I mean truly ask yourself if what your being taught sounds sane at all. Do you really think that Adam and Eve were created and were the beginning? and that they listened to a talking snake?!?!?! If I told someone that I talked to a snake I would be considered crazy… why is it different back then. Why doesn’t any crazy magic happen now days compared to moses’ or jesus’ time? I truly believe that people should open their eyes and discover for themselves what should be right or wrong. Parents are a good guiding tool but when your older, if you don’t question your beliefs and really ask yourself if you are right then you are just being stubborn and ignorant. Watch Religulous or Zeitgeist and then ask yourself some questions. One more thing…. you know that most religions, when you ask a question, they say that that something shouldn’t be questioned just believe and put your full faith into it because it is right…. just don’t question. What do you do when you are a kid and your learning everything that you can? You constantly question: What is hot? What is love? Where do babies come from? Why can’t I eat the cookie? Everything is determined by your questioning something. To answer anything in this world your brain first has to ask a question which then gives you the answer. When someone tries to take your power of questioning you should avoid that person at all costs.
