16 Oct 06 October Surprise - War With Iran?
It looks like President Bush may be ready to take on yet another unilateral war, this time with Iran. Apparently we have a full naval fleet on its way to the Persian Gulf, ready to take up position right off Iran’s coast. It is estimated that these ships would be in place by October 21st after an October 2 deployment. The Nation has a very inciteful article about the prospects for another front opening up in the “long war”.
