Section 123 of the 2007 Farm Bill

Section 123 will prevent local health inspectors from removing spoiled, rotten, or otherwise contaminated produce from the shelves. It would have to be done strictly at the federal level. Why is this so horrible you ask? Well currently 90% of the produce that is removed from the supermarket shelves happens at the local level, only 10% is screened out by the USDA. This means that you can expect a massive increase in unthinkably gross produce: TAKE ACTION!
